Born and raised in San Francisco, much of Jessica’s influence comes from the rich cultures and diversity found in her hometown. At the early age of 14, Jessica found her passion through makeup. Self-taught, she practiced her craft and began makeup artistry professionally in 2003. In 2007, she obtained her Cosmetology License from San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Partner School. Jessica’s commitment to the beauty industry continues to thrive. She has worked for Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and other prestigious companies, and received extensive knowledge and training under the hands of many accomplished individuals at Atelier Emmanuel Salon. Being a part of New York Fashion Week for Rene Furterer to various fashion shoots, Jessica’s expertise makes a unique experience for her clients. She freelances hair and makeup artistry for Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, YSL, Nars, Oribe and R & Co for beauty events. Jessica specializes in Balayage, Creative Color, Cuts, Bridal Hair and Makeup, Editorial Hair and Makeup. Jessica’s biggest inspiration and motivation comes from God and her family. This leads her into her next journey as Salon owner of Concrete Rose Salon in San Francisco. Inspired from Tupac‘s poem “ The rose that grew from Concrete” Throughout her life Jessica has faced many adversities, she relentlessly continues to persevere. She truly empathizes with everyone’s journey in life and understands we are all Concrete Roses in some shape or form. Jessica is here to assist you in understanding your hair and skin from the inside out and believes in solid foundations starting with healthy skin and a healthy scalp. She views hair and makeup as one of the truest forms of self expression and feels communication and understanding are key to achieving what her clients truly want. Jessica evaluates what is needed in order to accomplish her client’s hair and makeup goals. With patience, love and care, she strives to give her clients the best possible experience. There will be a 25% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours. Please allow 48 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please call ahead if you will be late. Late appointments after 15 mins will be canceled. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
